What the day includes
- Your own car and driver for the whole day, from the hotel door and back to it
- A route planned with you beforehand, and changed on the day if you would rather do something else
- A mountain viewpoint, a temple with level paths and shade, and lunch somewhere quiet
- One day as standard, and more than one if you ask for it when we plan the trip
How the day runs
Morning
Your driver meets you at the hotel entrance, and the day starts when you are ready.
Late morning
Out to a viewpoint on the mountain, where the walk from the car is short and the view is the point.
Midday
Lunch at a quiet table, unhurried, with the car waiting rather than a schedule.
Afternoon
A temple with level ground and shade, walked slowly, with the option to finish earlier than planned.
Evening
Back through the tree lined roads to your hotel, with the last of the light coming through the windows.
Pace
Short, level distances between the car and each stop, somewhere to sit at every one, and no part of the day that depends on walking far.

Availability
We do not hold dates, seats or rooms on this website, and nothing here is confirmed while you are reading it. After you send a request we check what is possible for your dates with the people who would run the day, and we write back with what we find, including when the answer is no.
If you need to cancel
If your trip is arranged and you then need to cancel, these are the terms we work to: cancel 30 days or more before the first day and you are refunded in full; cancel between 15 and 29 days before and you are refunded at least half. The full terms are written into the quote you receive, so you read them before you agree to anything. No payment is taken on this website, so there is nothing to pay here and nothing to refund until a deposit has been arranged with our team directly.
Who you will be with
The people you spend the day with, the driver, the guide, the cook whose kitchen you are in, are chosen by us for that day. We plan each day with them directly, and we tell you who you will be with before you agree to anything. One person on our team stays your point of contact from the first message to the end of the trip. If something on the day is not what we described, tell us. The arrangement is ours to put right, not yours.
